Brian age is a pretty pog new IP
Zelda stuff(BOTW 2+35 anniversary games), 2D metroid, new DK game, new mario party, maybe mario kart 9
MK9 would just compete with the best selling Switch game so that'd be just dumb
When did MK7 happen compared to MK Wii?
In the next Gen
About 3 years later
MK games have never appeared twice on a console
Give me 1 good reason that this'll be a different case
Switch hasn't had its own MK game, since MK8D is a Wii U game+DLC that got ported over.
It is a new game for the vast majority of consumers tho
A good chunk of consumers probs don't even know it's a port since they just think Deluxe is a subtitle like 64 or Advance
Do you have proof of that?
Also, not sure how "what the majority of consumers thought" plays a role here.
For what, that the vast majority it's a new game or that a good chunk of them don't know it's a port?
In supporting my argument that it is the Switch's MK
O.o
Its true that MK8D is considered new for 90% switch owners
I'd like to see sources to back up that claim
However, Nintendo EPD(mario kart team) did not release any new game since arms in 2017
So MK8 sold 28 million copies so far IIRC and it'll just continue to sell
