If you look at the gameplay, Mario 35 has many of the same elements as Tetris 99 (these mechanics even have the same design). This leads me to believe that the team behind tetris 99 are heavily involved with Mario 35.

people are critisiing Nintendo for the limited release of the all stars, i understand that. but i remember the NES classic being a limited released for a while then they just released it fully.
