I usually can't get into superhero stuff, so I'd probably rule out Daredevil and Archer. Breaking Bad is one of my favorites already, and I've only seen a bit of The Next Generation. I never watched Parks and Rec though, only comedies I really follow are Always Sunny and Trailer Park Boys.
And I disagree, I think TV is bigger than it ever was, but the rising of YouTubers, Podcasts, etc. outshines it a bit maybe. I think movies are falling off if anything.

I'm not a big fan of superhero stuff either. There's few that I actually enjoy and would call my favorite. Even if you don't necessarily like superhero stuff, I'd give Daredevil a try, even if it's only one episode.
Archer isn't really superhero. It's more like a satirical adult comedy spy Bond cartoon.
If you don't like adult cartoons like Rick and Morty/South Park/Family Guy/etc., then I wouldn't recommend it.
the show really has interesting character designs and had a decent story
OH, for some reason I registered Archer as Green Arrow, my bad. I haven't seen Archer, love the voice actor though. I'll give Daredevil a look, and I kind of wanted to check out The Punisher as well, but idk.
South Park is good, never watched Rick and Morty, and can't stand Family Guy; animation is a mixed bag for me.
If you've never seen The Leftovers and want something depressing to watch, I highly recommend it, but be ready to question everything.
I didn't like the Punisher. It was super emo/edgy the entire time. I got sick of it quick.
That's what I was worried about.
The Punisher is in the Daredevil show as well, and he's way cooler in that show.
