There's different types, so I imagine there might be different levels.
Like all the colors you perceive are broken down into Red, Green and Blue.
So, if you are missing Blue, you only see things in shades of Red, Green, both or neither

not all color blind people is blind to the same colors. They are missing some of the color cones in the eye so depending on which are missing, they will be blind to some colors or others
i had a friend colorblind to red, he got pissed when i asked him for a red colored pencil once
there was a bunch of red type shaded pencils so it made it worse
(though he couldve just looked for the one that said “red” on it)
