If you have the Nintendo Switch Online subscription there’s a couple of classic Kirby games on the NES app and SNES app

Super Mario Bros 1 2 and 3 on NES are all really good. And Super Mario World on SNES

also since you like cats, I recommend Cattalis and also Stardew Valley which is a Farm life game
