It will, it happens with every console, new one comes out, sales drop for the others for a time. They always pick back up, but who knows at this point
Switch seems to be at a fixed price
No need to drop prices when your system is selling as good as Switch. I think it's probable that it still outsells the other consoles this holiday season, which would be remarkable.

Personally, I tend to play some Mario Kart, Smash Ultimate, Dark Souls, Doom and some other games I got on my Switch
