A. I don't have to answer as they wouldn't do it! PlayStation and Nintendo don't have Mircosoft money behind them.

B. I can see the NES Online and SNES online appearing on Televisions away from the console as a app you pay for

C. IF they did it.. It's not viable - they would put a lot dlc in Zelda. 😅

Xbox have said its not making them money. They can do it because of the Microsoft money backing it all. I'm not against it! Just I think people don't may in the end pay more.

If you play a game longer then 7 months then you have paid more for the game. 🤷‍♀️

I see your concern. That actually adds up pretty quickly and lots the more time you have it and need expansion for more games. Physical is still the way to go but both companies want us to fo digital and microsoft especially wants us for game pass I guess since its more viable now compared to letting people use their own 60-70 dollars in their own exclusives

Nintendo does put profitability first, yes I believe they wouldn’t either. Is it more the fact that Microsoft also gives them a cloud advantage over Nintendo and PlayStation? Or is it a mix of that along with Microsoft pumping in money towards the xbox? It was a “what if” for the Nintendo thing really hahaha. For me at least its not knowing if many of the titles on Xbox counsel will be worth paying a full price. Whereas you know what your getting from a Zelda, Mario, Pokemon etc. If this is where everyone else is trending towards there is concern yes I agree but we still have the option that we have had in buying physical copies. At least for now..

@Embryonox @SantoDelOyo not hating on GamePass. I'm sure I will be having a dabble! But once the excitement has settled im struggling with the 'savings' - yes there is 150 games on there. But there is 1000 films Netflix. I don't watch them all and I don't need to download them before I watch them. When I watch then I watch then once. 😳

If its a long game. Like a skyrim id just buy the game as if want access to it forever. Heck I fire up the Gamecube for some StarWars rouge leader. I've had 18 years. 🔥

@ThomasCasson oh yea I see that but playing a game compared to just watching a movie games you need much more time commitment which people see the value from especially good games on gamepass

LMAOOO I dunno why I'm into longer games but I am. Longest game i have beaten was Xenoblade 2 for 80 hours and plan on beating it again to unlock everything

There are advantages to gamepass, but there comes a point where I feel its no longer needed to keep the subscription going. This is what they want to do with All Access and have people tied to a two year plan for both the console and gamepass to try and make monthly payments a new “normal” or at least appeal to more casual gamers I suppose

I think the average price of next gen games has made people turn heads to Game Pass. It's now $70 which I totally understand.

I think I was so into gamepass because there was a special offer where they used my remaining gold into gamepass. So I had gamepass for free for about a year

I feel the same way, really its why I’m hesitant to get either one atm. Yuup, anyone who knows what they’re getting should buy it. Especially if you pour hours into a game
