Yea ur both right I was into pokemon then after the 3rd gen I said what's all this new stuff which I mean it's still good I just think they can make pokemon stadium better if they ever did
I still fully think no main line pokemon game will ever top Pokemon Emerald
They need to make a pokemon stadium with all the pokemon characters and open world battle as well as catch and train den I'll be satisfied tbh
If u really just wanna battle then just get on Pokemon Showdown
I replayed crystal a few weeks ago its definitely good
But emeralds over all polish, new pokemon designs, balanced difficulty and amazing post game make it so good
Also sceptile is my favorite pokemon so hard bias 🙂
Also fun fact gen 3 is the only gen in the whole series to run at 60 fps
Well I just asked for smash specifically
the list right now is
Black and white is a half exception for the 60 fps thing
The battles in BW are 60 fps
But the rest is 30 fps

Well most switch games do actually run 60 fps
But pokemon is pokemon
Well at least most big first parties
Not all tho yeah
It doesn't matter to me too much but I think the 60 fps is definitely a defining factor for gen 3 being my favorite lol
