the only problem here is that they're two games, but X-2 is digital only
you just need X-1's game card in the Switch to actually play X-2
so you can't resell X-1 without losing the ability to play X-2

maybe not, like MK11 requiring download to play, because it'd be expensive for bigger cards
i can understand that at least, but from what i know, X-2 is a separate game
it's probably cheaper for them to do it digital-only
and if it is like streaming TV and Movies, there are many people who simply don't do physical stuff anymore
