I know it'll be good. Same producer who wrote the story and designed most of the gameplay for the original Prime trilogy

That's good to hear. I never got much into the trilogy when I got it on Wii U, hence why I'm not 100% if it'd be worth getting hyped for

When I try to get people into it, I always recommend they start with that one since the stories are separate enough that you can play either of the first two

Hollow Knight (Steel Soul completionist run, im at like 90%)

Hollow Knight is one of the best games I've ever played, and is legitimately the best Metroidvania to date. I wasn't even going to bother at first because Dark Souls inspired stuff usually doesn't interest me in the slightest, but I almost want to go back and punch myself for thinking that.

Haha. I'm always wary with games taking inspiration from Dark Souls because I love the Souls franchise (ofc bar black sheep garbage game Bloodborne which isn't really a Souls game anyway), and they're usually shit

I can't stand Dark Souls really, because the combat is so slow paced.

Not sure how "completionist" you were about it, but I'll just tell you this: I dedicated myself enough to it so that I have Path of Pain completed (hitless, first time run-through so no shortcut) on my steel soul save.
