Joycons are great for menu selections and maybe tetris games
Pro controller for platformers and other 8-way movement scenarios
My personal experience at least
i have yet to report a problem but the moment i do ill go ahead and agree with you guys (if it does bother me)
@Wafer what pro controller do you have? The base one? Or one of the colored? If the base one, when did you get it? If you are not having problems, these things might explain it
i have 3
splat xeno and base
the base one, refurbished from gamestop, ive only run into the dust problem with it, besides that, everything good
my joycon still tend to drift sometimes, i make sure to watch those a little more carefully and make sure calibrations are all good
I have base one when it launched, had an overly-sensitive up input that was remedied after the tape fix
Splat and xeno I heard they have a different d-pad that fixes the problems of the base one. The base one seems to be the one suffering from that bad d-pad, and probably some of the newer ones got it fixed same way than the colored ones. However, the problems of the d-pad usually aren't seen unless you play something that requires precise and fast input (that's why I told you to play Celeste)
ahh i see
well i mean, still no problems from me, i tend to switch off my usage on em to make sure i dont wear one out, ill add the smash one into the rotation once they finally hit the shelves
i cant wait for that dang thing, ive spent so long waiting, i hoped it would come before the game, but i guess not
I'm probably getting a new controller but for warframe
oo nice
pro or joycon?
Still have to determine which one, if the gamecube one from power A or their pro that has 2 additional programmable buttons behind
i mean if i were to do so id choose the gamecube, but thats just for smash and convenience
