I know the feeling. I stopped studying because it was a lot of arbitrary work for nothing really (in my case, that is.) Grabbed my bachelor's degree and said goodbye to uni lyfe. Would be no point in grabbing a master because I'd be learning more of the same bs and writing a lot of irrelevant papers.
The woes of them "requiring" you to learn a certain amont of things, when only half of them are relevant for what you want to do. People tend to argue that the teachers would otherwise have small audiences, but in my experience the people who turn up for a lecture amount to about 30% anyway. xD
