I hated several things of it
First, the fact of repeating several areas again and again
@Buuzie depends on which glasses you wear tbh. I'm not a zelda fan at all, in fact I loathe the franchise. But BotW was 10/10. Still to this day the best game I've ever played.
Skyward felt like an entirely new game and going back and exploring extra stuff i loved.
Second: they forcefully added motion to many puzzles. God, I hated that flying beetle thing so bad!!
I play every zelda game coming out just to see if they're still making terrible games, or if they're actually doing something right
BotW was a real surprise
Flying Beetle was the best! it was frustrating at times but i loved figuring it out
Felt like puzzles were fun again
My problem was that motion was mandatory.

@Buuzie tbh tho, you have to play the games to get a true opinion on em, a lot of people love botw, but theres those who would say otherwise
Motion control tech back then wasnt as good as it is now.
Yeah, but it's ok. Nobody must like all the games, I hate FE, you hate AW, and we're still here, without killing each other 😂
I think that one thing is for sure: The Legend of Zelda franchise is one you cannot ask for a secondary opinion on.

I guess that's what makes gaming great
There's something for everybody, and we don't all have to worship the same franchise
